Our story

From an idea to an integrated residential platform.

Re:shape was established in 2020 by Jermaine Browne and Charlie Gayner with the ambition to create a more integrated approach to residential development and operations.

Since then, the business has grown from a founder-owned development company into a partnership of senior specialists spanning planning, investment, development, finance and operations.

Through ARK, Re:shape has helped establish and operate residential communities in Wembley and Canary Wharf. Alongside its operating experience, the business has built a substantial development pipeline across London and the UK, working with institutional investors, family offices, landowners and public-sector partners.

Today, Re:shape remains owned by its founders and partners, ensuring the people leading the business are directly invested in its long-term success.

2020

Re:shape established.

Founded by Jermaine Browne and Charlie Gayner to create a more integrated residential development business.

2021

Woolwich.

Planning consent secured for a 298-unit PBSA scheme in Woolwich, subsequently sold to QIP and Gamuda.

2022

ARK.

The ARK brand was created and launched by Re:shape as part of a joint venture with Crosstree Capital.

2023–2025

Pipeline growth.

Re:shape significantly expanded its residential development pipeline across London and the UK.

2025

B Corp certification.

Re:shape secured B Corp certification, embedding strong environmental, social and governance principles across the business.

2025

Broadening ownership.

Partnership formed with the introduction of Robbie Nightingale and Dan Lutterodt across Development and Investment, broadening the ownership and leadership of the business.

2026

A new home.

Re:shape moved into its new headquarters at 1 Blandford Street, Marylebone, London.

A small senior team, involved throughout.

We have deliberately built Re:shape around a focused team with complementary experience across acquisitions, planning, investment, development and operations. Senior people remain close to the decisions that shape each project.
